Action Storage formed SME success in China with Shanghai Mammoth

Since 1986, Action Storage has successfully supplied storage and material handling solutions and expertise to over 30 countries.  China is our next main international focus.  With the China-Britain Business Council’s support over the last few years, Action Storage has successfully formed the WFOE (Wholly Foreign-Owned Enterprise) in China, Shanghai Mammoth International Trading Co Ltd.  This additional platform will be the vehicle to supply our quality products and expertise to the Chinese market.

“We believe we can sell both our products and expertise as we have done in Europe, Australia, the US, Japan and the Middle East.” – Tom Brialey, Director of Action Storage System

In the last few years, we have been sourcing Chinese manufacturers for steel and plastic staff and student lockers, in addition to investing in manufacturing tools to ensure control is maintained to our high standard of quality.  Our core brands including eXtreme Plastic Lockers and Atlas Steel Lockers are manufactured in China, but assembled in the UK to allow for extra quality checks as well as for providing quick delivery for our European/Middle Eastern/American customers.  With our new platform Shanghai Mammoth, our East Asia customers will enjoy a much quicker delivery time.

Shanghai Mammoth will initially be concentrating on providing locker solutions to the education, food manufacturing and food processing industries in China as the growth rate on all three market sectors is high [1].  At the same time, we will build up the resources to enable us to supply and install stockroom shelving systems to the rapidly expanding retail sector.  For more information, please click here to contact our Shanghai Mammoth office.

In the latest issue of China-Britain business FOCUS magazine (July/Aug 2014 edition), we are proud to be featured as SME (small medium enterprise) success of the month – click here to download the full article.
